How users opt in

  1. Download Couple Calendar and sign in with a verified mobile number.
  2. Create a new calendar event or edit an existing event.
  3. Read the SMS disclosure displayed directly above the Send Text Reminder? control.
  4. Turn on Send Text Reminder?. The control is off by default and requires an affirmative action from the user.
  5. Select when the reminder should arrive and save the event.

After the user enables text reminders, Couple Calendar sends this confirmation:
